The Green Mountain Glades Empire team entered into their final game of the Woodchuck tournament with some fire against cross-town opponent Rice Prep Knights. Early scoring from Ryan Bray and Victor Ivarrson put the Glades in front and they never looked back taking the play to Rice for the majority of the game. Others adding to the attack included Colby Laperle, Tipper Higgins and Liam Slyne.
"I was happy with the way the guys played" said coach Kerr. "It was a long weekend and they could have made excuses, but instead they came out hard. With Rice being right down the road, I think there was a real sense of pride behind this one" added Kerr. Up next the Empire Glades make way to New Jersey for weekend games against the Hitmen and Revolution.
