Glades Empire Split Weekend With Huskies

Glades were off to a rough start in their first game this past weekend. They seemed to be unable to score as they outshot their opponents however the opponent’s goalie would not allow anything past. The first goal of the game was not scored until the second period and it was against the Glades. Then fifteen minutes into the third period the Huskies were able to score their second and final goal to secure their 2-0 victory over the Glades.

Through hard work and determination the Glades were able to fight back on Saturday in their second game against the Huskies. The Glades opened up the scoring early as Zach Bakotic was able to hammer it home with assists going to Eric Knoppel and Liam Slyne. Midway through the second period the Glades were able to increase their lead with a nice goal by Joey Nailor thanks to a wonderful pass from Seth Adams. With an all out attack consistant throughout the game the Glades were able to find the back of the net in the third as Eric Knoppel sent Ryan Bray up the wing where Bray went high glove and found nothing but net.
